Dide Mukeba was born and raised in DRCongo-Kinshasa. She moved to the United States with her family (husband and two boys) in 2012 and earned an Associate's Degree in General Education at St. Louis Community College and is a Missouri-certified substitute teacher. She is pursuing her B.A. in Elementary Education from the University of Missouri - St. Louis.

Dide has been working with children since 2005, and prior to moving to the U.S., taught children for 7 years in Seoul, South Korea. She also works as Site Director for BASK, a before-and-after school program in the Ladue School District.

Dide is a polyglot and believes it's fun to learn many languages. She joined the Alliance in 2017 to teach and share her passion for teaching. Her goal is to make all her students love French.
