Fête de la Musique 2019

  • 801 South Skinker Boulevard St. Louis, MO, 63105 United States (map)

Attention music lovers! June 21st is Fête de la Musique! On the first day of summer, 750 cities in 120 countries will participate in Make Music Day, or “Fête de la Musique.” Originating in France, this festival was created by French Minister of Culture, Jack Lang in 1982 to be an annual celebration of music in its most welcoming form.

To celebrate, we will be having an evening of music and karaoke. The event will take place at the penthouse at 801 South Skinker Blvd on June 21st at 6:00pm.

This event is FREE to both members of the Alliance Française and non-members for whom this will be their first event with us. Space is limited to 60 people, so RSVP soon!

We will be having a potluck, so please bring a shareable dish or snack. The Alliance Française will supply the wine!

Before the event, we encourage you to find a song you would like to sing on YouTube--and you might want to start working on your karaoke skills!

See you all there!
