Franco-Moroccan author of the internationally bestselling thriller "The Perfect Nanny," Leila Slimani will be at the St. Louis County Library headquarters as part of her U.S. book tour to present the English release of her prizewinning first novel, Adèle (French title: Dans le jardin de l'ogre). Attendance is free!

A journalist and frequent commentator on women’s and human rights, Leila Slimani is French president Emmanuel Macron’s personal representative for the promotion of the French language and culture. She is the first Moroccan woman to win France’s most prestigious literary prize, the Prix Goncourt.
