Frederique has more than 20 years of experience teaching French, history and geography (middle school through college) in private and public schools in France, the United Kingdom and China. She holds a master's degree in humanities from Paris Nanterre University and the highest French-teaching qualification (Agregation). 

Frederique joined the Alliance Française of St. Louis in October 2015 and started to teach a virtual tour of France course about French geography, before decrypting French politics during the French presidential elections of 2017. She also teaches French III and AP French at John Burroughs School, a local private school in Ladue. She loves to share her knowledge of French culture, to bake French bread and macarons and to adapt to local cultures.
