The Alliance Française de St. Louis is not just a French language center - but also a cultural and educational center. For the past couple years at our new location, something we’ve taken pride in is growing a small yet fruitful garden filled with a wide variety of plants. This year, our garden played a big role in our children’s summer camp, Du jardin à la table, where summer campers learned where their food comes from and harvested many of the garden’s fruits and vegetables.
The Alliance Française de St. Louis’ 2019 garden would not be possible without the amazing work of our Garden Committee, led by Master Gardener and longtime AFSTL member, Linda Massey. Another big shout out goes to all the volunteers who worked tirelessly planting, watering, harvesting and maintaining the garden.
