We are excited to announce two new classes: a Complete Beginners class for students who are brand new to the French language and a B1 DELF revision class for those seeking to pass the B1 DELF certification exam.
Both classes meet for 2 hours, once per week at the Alliance Française de St. Louis and are enrolled/priced in 6-week sessions. The deadline to enroll is fast approaching, so if you are interested in joining one of these classes, please contact us! Please note: as the Alliance Française is a membership-based organization, an annual membership is required to register for classes.
A1.1 Complete Beginner (Starts July 11)
Mondays 6:00pm - 8:00pm
Tuition: $192 / 6-week session (12 teaching hours)
Textbook: Alter Ego+ A1 - $50
Instructor: Brian Tanner
Start your journey here. This class is for complete beginners of French. You will begin to understand and use familiar everyday experiences, learn how to introduce yourself and others and ask/answer questions about personal details, and interact in a simple way provided the other person talks slowly and clearly.
Prepare yourself for the B1 DELF exam with this thorough revision course. The class will follow Le DELF - 100& réussite text. The DELF (Diplôme d'Etudes en Langue Française) is an official certification awarded by the French Ministry of Education certifying level of fluency in French. The exam results in a diploma that is similar to a university degree and confirms a language proficiency level that is valid for life. This can be useful for school records and college/job applications.
