You are invited to join us in celebrating the life of St. Louis-born Josephine Baker with a a joint presentation by Isabelle Heidbreder, Director of the Alliance Française de St. Louis and Consule Honoraire de France, and Laika Thomas, Office Director of the Alliance.

Isabelle’s presentation will be in English and will cover Josephine Baker’s life as an adventurer, resistance spy, and civil rights activist. Laika’s presentation will be conducted in French and will discuss Baker’s life as a fashionista and an influencer.

Light refreshments will be provided by the Alliance. This conference is free and open to all members of the Alliance Française de St. Louis and your guests. Space is limited, and RSVP is required! We hope to see you all there.
