Private French Tutoring
The Alliance Française provides customized private one-on-one and semi-private (two students) French tutoring with fully qualified French tutors. Start at any time and benefit from flexible scheduling and personalized instruction.
Private instruction is available for adults, kids, and teens at all levels of proficiency. Lessons are tailored to address an individual or group’s particular needs with flexible scheduling throughout the day or evening. Lessons take place at the Alliance Française center, on Zoom, or at a private home or office (an additional travel fee is applicable).
Private lessons are available in both 30-minute and 1-hour classes and may be purchased individually or in packs of five classes at a discounted rate. Private lessons are available as low as $51/hour of instruction.
Sign Up for an AFSTL Membership
In addition to tuition, an annual membership is required. Memberships are valid for one year from when you sign up and are $60 for an individual, $90 for a family, and $30 for a local university student.
Cancellation Policy
We recognize things come up, and you are welcome to reschedule a private lesson with your tutor. We just ask that you please provide at least 24 hours’ notice. Out of respect for our teachers’ time, any private lessons canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice will be forfeited with no refunds. If you have any questions, please contact the office. Thank you for your understanding.
