Whether you dream of ordering un croissant in a Parisian café or simply want to explore a new language, this course is the perfect starting point.
In our complete beginners class, you'll learn essential skills such as greetings, basic introductions, numbers, everyday vocabulary, and simple sentence structure, all within a friendly and supportive learning environment.
Course Details
Our Complete Beginners class will be held on Tuesdays from 6:00pm to 8:00pm with Dominique. The first term
This class is offered in a hybrid format, meaning you can attend in person at the Alliance Française de St. Louis or virtually on Zoom - whichever works best for you! Our school is located at 930 N McKnight Rd. St. Louis, MO 63132.
Tuition: Adult French classes at the Alliance Française are enrolled and priced in 8-week terms. Tuition for this class is $304 per 8-week term. This translates to $19 per hour of instruction. The first term will be a shortened 7-week term, and tuition is prorated at $266 for the first term.
Textbook Fee: There is also a one-time textbook fee of $60, and your text will last you through the entire A1 beginner level (approximately one year).
Membership: As the Alliance Française is a not-for-profit membership-based organization, there is an annual membership due. The cost is $60 for an individual, $90 for a family, or $30 for a local university student. Membership is valid for one year from the day you sign up. This also gives you access to our French library and media center as well as our cultural events.

Once you’ve added everything to your cart, scroll up and click the “cart” icon at the top of the page to complete the checkout process. You’re now well on your way to parler français!
